Rosa Longoria Gilpin

Rosa Longoria Gilpin, 58, of El Campo, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003 in Houston.

She was born April 3, 1944 in El Campo to the late John and Mary Guzman Longoria.  Mrs. Gilpin was a Catholic and retired as a nurse from Garden Villa Nursing Home.

Mrs. Gilpin was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald Gilpin; and sister, Anita Falcon.

Survivors include her daughter, Brandi Gilpin of Jacksonville, Florida; and sisters, Delfina Munoz of El Campo, Amelia Ramos of Pecos and Isabel Duran of Richmond.

A Rosary was held Friday, at 7 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home.  Mass service was Saturday, at 10 a.m. at St. Robert’s Catholic Church.  Interment followed at Holy Cross Cemetary under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Eugene Falcon, Jesse Perez, Pete Duran, John Munoz Jr, Joe Delgado and Rudy Gaona Jr.
