Mary Dolores Rivera Resendez

August 22, 1945 ~~~ April 24, 2024

Dolores Rivera Resendez, 78, of El Campo, passed away April 24, 2024. She was born on August 22, 1945 in El Campo to the late Antonio and Isabel Rivera. She was a teacher for E.C.I.S.D. for many years.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Manuel and Francis Salinas and siblings, Isabel Sanchez and Antonia Tristan.

She is survived by her son, Manuel A. Resendez and sibling, Aurora Mendiola.

A funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, May 17 at St. Robert’s Catholic Church.

Dolores graduated from El Campo High School in 1963.  She attended our 60^th Class Reunion in September 2023 with her guests, Anna Garza and Ardis Bacak, pictured below along with Jane Newton Reynolds.
